Toolcritic News

Mon, 02 Mar 2009 01:29:11 GMT - Rockler's Team-Up Sale: Feb 28 - Apr 03

Rockler is having a decent sale right now. The flyer has a $15 Off, $50 or more coupon (our local Rockler often has the coupons in the store for anyone to use). They also have some great prices on assorted clamps. I picked up some of the beefy 12" Irwin quick clamps for about $10 a clamp. I also found some zero clearance inserts for my Grizzly 14" Ultimate Band Saw. They were a steal: 5 for $3. (the Jet inserts are a perfect fit for the Grizzly). -The Toolcritic Team

Mon, 24 Nov 2008 05:59:09 GMT - Rockler Thanksgiving Sale!

Rockler is having their Thanksgiving sale from Nov 22 to Dec 5. We always love these sales because there's always some nice odds and ends to be found at a great price. The most recent flyer has a $20 off coupon for purchases of $50 or more. Our local Rockler sometimes have the print flyers on hand for those who didn't get one. -The Toolcritic Team

Mon, 24 Mar 2008 06:39:56 GMT - Thomas Moser Opens LA Showroom

Earliers this month, Scott Daniel, one of the Toolcritic founders, attended the Thomas Moser Showroom Opening Event in Los Angeles with two of his friends. The event had more of the flavor of a major art happening than the opening of a furniture store with hundreds of people sitting patiently through several hours of talks on craft and furniture. Check out some of the pictures and find out more about what happened at the event here at the Toolcritic site.

Thu, 13 Sep 2007 19:40:04 GMT - Toolcritic is moving to new servers!

To continue to provide our rapidly expanding base of users with a snappy Toolcritic.com experience we have been forced to migrate our system to some new, faster, servers.

During this transition you will not be able to sign-in, sign-up or create new reviews. However you can still browse existing reviews and read all of our articles.

We expect the transition will only last a couple of days (if everything goes smoothly).

Please bear with us during this transition.

www.milwaukeetool.com to find out the details on the recall. If your battery is affected they will send you a prepaid FedEx label to send you battery in for replacement.

We've already made the call for our affected batteries. Don't mess around, check out your batteries to see if they are part of the recall.
